Art Juror

As the owner of M. GrosserJewelry in Carmel, Michael Grosser has dedicated his career to creating custom, award-winning jewelry since 1977. In 2003, he earned the prestigious Certified Master Bench Jeweler designation from Jewelers of America, underscoring his commitment to craftsmanship and excellence in design. From 2000 to 2006, he served as Executive Director of the Bench Jewelers Passion Award, where he managed a national design competition that deepened his appreciation for evaluating artistic talent.

Michael’s extensive experience as a jury member for prominent art festivals—including the Port Clinton Art Festival, Carmel International Art Festival, Breckenridge Mountain Art Festivals, and St. James Court Art Show—has honed his ability to assess submissions with a discerning eye. He possesses a strong understanding of the balance between technical skill and artistic vision, ensuring that each event

showcases exceptional artistry. In addition to his studio work, he was the Artist in Residence for Breck Create in Breckenridge, Colorado, in 2016 and has participated in prestigious art festivals across the U.S., such as the Disney Festival of the Masters, Cincinnati Summer Fair, Sausalito Art Festival, St. James Court Art Show, and Coconut Grove. His jewelry designs have garnered numerous awards, further solidifying his reputation within the art fair circuit.

Beyond his jury work, Michael has offered valuable insights as an artist consultant and Artist Advisor for various festivals, providing a unique perspective on the needs of both artists and festival organizers. He actively supports the artist community through two large private Facebook groups, Art Fair Reviews and Art Fair Lounge, which engage thousands of artists in discussions, reviews, and best practices.
